Important Notice

A mandatory Tourist Usage Fee of MXN284.00 (approximately USD20.00) per person, must be paid by all travellers visiting the state of Quintana Roo (which primarily covers the beach resorts from Holbox and Cancun in the north, all the Riviera Maya region through Playa Del Carmen and Tulum, and down to Chetumal in the south). Payment can be made either prior to travel, during your stay, or at the airport on your return.

An Environmental Tax is also payable:

  • Bugambilias – International buffet, allowing guests to take a trip around the flavours of the world. Open for breakfast from 6:45am – 11am, lunch from 12:30pm – 5pm and dinner from 6pm – 11pm.
  • PIER 8 – Vibrant restaurant in a picturesque poolside setting, perfect for seafood lovers. At lunch, an international buffet is served, and in the evening a tempting selection of local specialities inspired by Spanish Mediterranean fare.   • Smoked - Located next to the Flowrider® serving Texan-style BBQ. Open for lunch from 12:00pm-5:00pm.
  • Agra – Authentic Indian cuisine served in a beautiful setting, filled with the captivating aromas of delicious recipes. Open from 6pm – 11pm.
  • Pepe’s Pizza – Delicious artisan cooked to perfection in a traditional wood burning oven, served poolside. Open from 12:30pm – 10pm.

  • El Manglar – Buffet style restaurant serving international cuisine and located by the central lobby. Open for breakfast from 6:30am – 11:30pm, lunch from 12:30pm – 4:30pm and dinner from 6pm – 11pm.
  • Carvao – Brazilian steakhouse and Rodizio grill located in the lobby, serving the freshest ingredients and offering an authentic dining experience. Open 6pm – 11pm.
  • Los Caporales – Serving authentic local dishes, this dining experience offers guests to discover the true flavours of Mexican cuisine. Open for breakfast from: 7am – 11:30am, and dinner from 6pm – 10pm.
  • Palapa Delfines – Poolside snack bar. Open for snacks from 11:30am – 4:30pm, and as a bar from 10am – 7pm.
  • La Burgueria – Gourmet hamburgers accompanied by the warm sea breeze, and ice-cold beers. Open from 11:30am – 4:30pm.
  • Palapa Pelicanos – Offering oven baked pizzas and Mediterranean cuisine from Sunday to Wednesday and serving the vibrant flavours of India from Thursday – Saturday.  In the daytime, a variety of tasty and popular snacks are served. Open for snacks from 11:30am – 4:30pm and dinner from 6pm – 11pm. Bar open from 10 am – 11pm.

Bars:

  • Lobby Bar – Low-key lounge serving snacks alongside live music. Open from 10am – 1am.
  • The Pub Brewhouse – Adults-only venue with live music. Open from 6pm – 1am.
  • Sweet & Coffee – Lovingly prepared selection of fresh pastries, ice creams and gourmet coffee are served in this coffee house. Open from 6am – 11am.

Access to Flowrider® is complimentary from 9.00am -5.00pm daily.  It can be reserved for private use from 8.00-9.00am and 5.00-6.00pm. The maximum capacity is 8 people.  The cost is $690 per hour ($345 for 30 mins), charged to your room.  Resort Credit cannot be used for this facility.

Please note that if your stay at Palace Resorts includes a resort credit, there is a 20% cap on the total resort credt that can be utilised on spa services , and a 16% service fee applies for any services paid with Resort Credit.  Resort credit terms are subject to change and will be confimed at check in.

 

  • The Dreamery (ages 4 – 12) features a range of activities, games, amenities and surpises to ensure the youngest guests have the holiday of their dreams. From puppet and magic shows to jenga tournaments, bracelet workshop and bounce zones, there is a fun activity suitable for every child.
  • The Playroom Kids Club (ages 4 – 12) offers plenty of fun activities to keep children entertained. Open from 9am – 10pm.

Tennis Court Renovations

The renovations will result in all courts being closed between 9th February and 20th April 2026. Work will take place between 9:00am-5:00pm. During the closure, guests may use the tennis courts located at Moon Palace Nizuc

To access the facilities at The Grand at Moon Palace guests staying in the main resort (Moon Palace Cancun and Moon Palace Nizuc) will need to buy a day pass using their resort credit.  The prices for the day passes on resort credit are $200 per person for a full day and $150 half day. Family passes will also be available for 2 adults and 2 children for $600 (subject to change).

Minimum stay

Please note a minimum stay of 4 nights applies during high season during President’s Week (February), Easter, Thanksgiving (November), Christmas & New Year.
