Day 1

Arrive in Arusha

You’ll be met on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport where you’ll be transferred to the African Tulip Hotel in Arusha. Here you’ll have dinner and stay the night.

Day 2

Tarangire

After breakfast you will transfer to Arusha, where you’ll have lunch before driving to Tarangire National Park. En route you’ll enjoy a game drive, taking in impressive sights with a chance to see everything from zebras and wildebeest to giraffes and baboons. When you arrive you’ll check in to Tarangire Sopa Lodge where you’ll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3

Serengeti

After having breakfast at the lodge you’ll set off for the Serengeti with a game drive in Tarangire on the way. You’ll stop off at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge where you’ll have lunch before continuing your journey. You’ll enjoy a second game drive on the verdant plains of the Serengeti before arriving at Serengeti Sopa Lodge where you’ll have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4

Serengeti

Enjoy a tasty breakfast at the lodge then head out for a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti. You’ll take a picnic lunch with you so you can spend more of your time out viewing in the park. You’ll return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 5

Serengeti/Ngorongoro

After having breakfast you’ll enjoy another game drive in the Serengeti before departing for Ngorongoro, enjoying a picnic lunch en route.   On arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, you check in at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day 6

Ngorongoro

Today you’ll have breakfast at the lodge before you spend a day exploring the famous crater, one of Africa’s most famous natural wonders, taking a picnic lunch with you. You’ll head back to the camp for dinner.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

NB – Timings are approximate and will vary according to road conditions, weather and traffic. Transportation in a shared 4x4 car with either 5 or 7 window seats.

Days 7 - 12

Zanzibar

After breakfast you’ll return to Arusha where you’ll arrive in time for your mid-day flight to Zanzibar.

Enjoy a relaxed six night stay at the Diamonds Mapenzi Beach. Take advantage of the all-inclusive package with a range of great restaurants, watersports and other activities available as you enjoy a relaxed week after your safari experience.

Day 13

Depart Zanzibar

After breakfast today you’ll transfer from the resort to the airport where you’ll catch your onward flight.
