Overview
The six day tour takes you from the natural beauty of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara to the world famous Serengeti, before finishing up in Ngorongoro Crater with the opportunity to see Africa’s incredible predators. (RT/GWS)
Details
Day 1
You’ll be met on your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, after which you’ll transfer to Mount Meru Game Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
After enjoying a relaxed morning here, you’ll transfer to Arusha for some lunch. Then it’s time to head down the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara Park. The scenic route takes you through open bush country with a rocky backdrop. Once you arrive you’ll go out on your first game drive before returning to your lodge in the evening.
Day 3
After breakfast you’ll head off for the Serengeti – one of Africa’s deservedly famous names. En route you’ll see the Ol Duvai Gorge before arrive at Seronera Wildlife Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive.
Day 4
The choice is yours: either arrange an early morning game drive and return for a late breakfast before going back out, or you can have an early breakfast followed by a full day’s game drive.
Day 5
After an early breakfast you’ll head off for Ngorongoro Crater. On the way you’ll enjoy a game drive but you’ll arrive in good time to the crater so you can enjoy a nature drive around here.
NB – Timings are approximate and will vary according to road conditions, weather and traffic. Transportation in a shared 4x4 car with either 5 or 7 window seats.
Days 6 - 12
Zanzibar
Depart after breakfast and head back down off the Ngorongoro Highlands back to Arusha where you’ll arrive in time for your mid-day flight to Zanzibar.
Enjoy a seven night stay at the exotic Breezes Beach Club and Spa for a relaxed week after your safari experience. Breezes Beach Club and Spa is the ideal tropical escape, set on the picturesque white-sand Bwejuu beach. You’ll be met with great views of the crystalline waters here, where the calm lapping waves create a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. If you want to unwind in style, the Frangipani Spa is the perfect place – the traditional Swahili décor makes for an authentic ambience.

Day 13
Depart Zanzibar
After breakfast today you’ll transfer from the resort to the airport where you’ll catch your onward flight.
