Overview

Celebrating the Maldives’ colourful culture, this fun-loving resort offers a combination of relaxing and socialising. Located on the private Huruvalhi Island in the Raa Atoll, this is a fantastic choice for friends, couples and families alike.

Framed by a stunning house reef, the resort is a snorkeller’s dream. From starlit snorkelling to swimming with mantas, there is ample opportunity to explore the crystal-clear lagoon. We love that each villa has its own ‘activity wall’, where you’ll find life jackets, snorkelling masks and flippers so you can have a dip in the ocean whenever you please. Every villa also has a ukulele, so you can create your own live concert as the sun sets. There’s also a fun inflatable water park, a beautiful main pool on the beach, and a kids club for families to enjoy.

Couples can treat themselves to a soothing treatment at The Standard Spa, and sip on cocktails or healthy smoothies at adult-only Tonic Pool & Bar. Beru Bar offers a unique evening – it’s a brilliant overwater nightclub with a glass-bottom dance floor so you can watch the fish as you dance the night away.

The villas are bright and contemporary, and are situated either on the beach or above the lagoon. Every villa has its own private pool, and boast direct access to the beach, lagoon or house reef. Each bathroom has its own disco ball too – a unique and fun way to relax in the bathtub.

Meal times are just as memorable. Dine on succulent seafood with your toes in the sand at BBQ Shak, enjoy a Maldivian experience at Guduguda, and enjoy island-inspired cocktails with a game of ping-pong at Todis Bar.

  • Two Bedroom Ocean Beach Villa – 306sqm villas with direct access to the sugary sand beach, featuring two villas joined by a spacious shared deck with plunge pool. Each villa features a king-size bed and daybed.
  • Lagoon Overwater Villa – 110sqm villas over the water, featuring a private deck with plunge pool and direct access to the lagoon.
  • Ocean Overwater Villa – 110sqm villas located a few metres from the house reef, featuring unsurpassable ocean views, a private deck with plunge pool and direct lagoon access, a rain shower and a partial open-air bathroom.
  • Two Bedroom Lagoon Overwater Villa – 221sqm villa ideal for friends or families as it sleeps up to six guests. Featuring two villas connected by a shared private deck and a big plunge pool. Both villas have a king-size bed, a daybed, a partially open-air bathroom and glass floor panels so you can watch the fish in the lagoon.
  • The Standard Residence – 221sqm villa with the best ocean views and direct access to the house reef. Featuring a glass floor entryway, a living room with a bar counter and dining room table, and a huge deck with four loungers, an infinity plunge pool and a hammock.

  • Kula – With a name meaning ‘colours’ in Dhiveli, this restaurant is as vibrant as you would expect. Enjoy international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open 7am-10.30am, 12.30pm-3pm and 6.30pm-10pm.
  • Todis Bar – Another colourful venue. Located a few steps from the pool deck, this fun bar offers delightful cocktails and ping-pong tables. Be sure to try a cocktail featuring ‘toddy’, which is a special Maldivian coconut nectar that adds a touch of sunshine to every drink. Open 10am-12am.
  • Joos Café – A calm, shady spot to relax and enjoy a smoothie, coffee or flaky pastry. Head here for a light lunch, enjoyed either tableside or on a lounger by the pool. The indoor seating area has a lovely library with vintage books and magazines for the ultimate chilled afternoon. Open 7am-10.30am, 12.30pm-3pm and 6.30pm-10pm.
  • Guduguda – A wonderful Maldivian experience. Gudugadu describes the joy of relaxing and conversing, which can you do Maldivian style, sitting on comfy floor cushions surrounded by rustic furnishings and décor. The menu boasts delicious coconut curries, rice dishes and fresh flatbreads. Open Wednesday, Friday and Sunday 6.30pm-10pm.
  • BBQ Shak – A casual affair, where you can dine with your feet in the sand and marvel at the beautiful ocean views. Enjoy fresh seafood and grilled meats paired with homemade sauces as the sun sets. Open Monday, Thursday and Saturday 6.30pm-10pm.
  • Beru Bar – Located at the end of the water villa jetty, this exciting overwater club has a glass-bottom dance floor, an oversized disco ball and a DJ. Adult only. Open 5pm-12am.
  • Tonic – A cool adult-only space featuring an adult-only pool, and a swim-up wellness bar. Enjoy cocktails, mocktails and tasty drinks with infused with superfoods, prebiotics and antioxidants. Why not try an anti-inflammatory tequila! Open 8am-9pm.
