We all know Hard Rock Hotel’s affiliation with fantastic music amenities, fun activities and cool contemporary style – and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is no different. Connected to CROSSROADS, an entertainment island with a marina, shops and restaurants, this awesome hotel offers incredible views of Emboodhoo Lagoon.

Hard Rock Hotel packs in a lot of fun, and we love the variety of programs on offer. Music lovers will surely feel at home here – you can request your own in-room turntable with a curated collection of vinyl, or even ask for a jamming session with a Fender guitar. The swimming pool also has underwater speakers, and Hard Rock Café boasts excellent live music each night. For a bit of zen, the Rock Om program includes complimentary yoga classes on your TV, as well as a yoga mat. For the kids, there’s the memorable Roxity Kids Club and Teen Spirit Club with activities such as kayaking, music lessons and more.

All overlooking the ocean, every studio, suite and villa here is modern and stylish. We especially love the overwater villas that feature either a pool, a lounge net over the water, or both. The Rock Royalty Overwater Pool Villa and Rock Star Villa are the most lavish of all, the latter even has its own tuk-tuk bar and jukebox. Families can’t go wrong with the Silver Family Suite, a lovely option with a master bedroom with a sofa bed on the ground floor, and bunk beds for teens on the second floor.

  • Rock Royalty Overwater Pool Villa – 144sqm overwater villa, featuring two bedrooms (one with king bed, one with two doubles), a separate living room with dining area, dedicated butler service, a pantry with a fridge and welcome amenities, kid’s amenities upon request, and a large furnished terrace with an infinity pool. Sleeps six guests.
  • Rock Star Villa – One 445sqm villa boasting a private boat dock, a private butler, a tuk-tuk bar, a Jukebox, a large outdoor living area, a pantry with a fridge and welcome amenities, a living room with dining area, and a spacious terrace with an infinity pool and lounge net over the water. We love the glass floor in front of the sofa where you can watch the fish in the lagoon. Sleeps four guests. 

  • Hard Rock Café Maldives – Located at The Marina @ CROSSROADS, this iconic restaurant offers live music, music memorabilia, handcrafted cocktails and hearty American favourites. Open 12pm-12.30am. Closed on Tuesdays.
  • Sessions – A colourful restaurant serving contemporary international cuisine created with fresh local ingredients. There’s also a private Chef’s Studio for up to 12 guests. Open 7am-10am, 12.30pm-3pm and 6.30pm-10.30pm.
  • The Elephant and the Butterfly – Inspired by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera’s love story, this fabulous Mexican restaurant offers panoramic ocean views and classic Mexican feasts, including tacos, ceviche and churros. Open 11.30am-10.30pm.
  • Pool Bar – A wonderful swim-up bar located in the infinity pool, featuring underwater stools, a waterslide, Pan-Latin snacks and a great kid’s menu. Open 8.30am-10.30pm.
