Overview

Renowned for its outstanding hospitality, this small yet beautiful island hotel prides itself on its attention to detail and incredible marine life. The island is located in the Vaavu Atoll, and is close by to wonderful diving sites. Elusive nurse shark swim nearby too - they are harmless to humans and it’s a real treat to be able to see them up close. As there is minimal interference from planes and boats, the island is blessed with beautiful marine life.

The accommodation is minimalist and evokes a lovely island feel. Boasting fabulous views of the beach and ocean, they offer the perfect space to relax and enjoy Maldivian barefoot luxury. We especially love the overwater villas that jut out over the lagoon in the shape of a stingray.

The hotel is stylish and laidback, yet there are plenty of great activities for couples and families alike. Enjoy an unforgettable dolphin watching cruise on a traditional Dhoni, choose from a variety of water sports, and take part in fun indoor and outdoor activities.

Vah, the main restaurant, is a lovely place to enjoy delicious meals throughout the day, whilst Marlin offers sumptuous seafood and romantic vibes for lunch and dinner. The island may be quiet, but if you’re hoping for a night of partying, Hama Rhythmic Bar is the place to be. The bar is soundproof, so you won’t disturb other guests while you enjoy a cocktail or two.

The hotel is located on a beautiful private island just five hectares in size. Located in the quiet Vaavu Atoll, the island is only a short 25 minute seaplane transfer from Malé, and it close by to some of the best dive sites in the Maldives.

Superior Beach Lofts – 79sqm rooms with a lovely terrace overlooking the beach. There’s the option of an interconnecting door with Beach Bungalow room below. Sleeps two guests.
Beach Bungalows – 65sqm bungalows with a deck leading out on to the beach. Can be interconnected with Superior Beach Loft above, and there’s an option of an additional single bed. Sleeps up to three guests.
Water Bungalows – 100sqm bungalows located along a jetty shaped like a stingray above the lagoon. Enjoy ocean views and direct access to the ocean from your outside deck, plus a hammock. Sleeps up to four guests, with two additional single beds available.
Sunset Water Bungalow with Jacuzzi – 100sqm bungalows located on the sunset side of the jetty. Featuring a staircase from the balcony to the lagoon, a hammock suspended over the lagoon, and sunset views. Sleeps up to four guests, with two additional single beds available.
Water Suite with Pool – 208sqm suites located along the jetty, featuring a spacious living space, and a terrace with direct lagoon access, a hammock and a plunge pool. Also features a private bar or serving station on the terrace. Sleeps up to four guests, with two additional single beds available.

Vah – The main restaurant, located on the beachfront and serving delicious food for the family. Open 7.30am-9.30am, 12.30pm-2.30pm and 7.30pm-9.30pm.
Vah Lounge – A lovely lounge and bar located above the main restaurant, ideal for a pre or post dinner cocktail. (Reservations Only, Subject to availability & additional cost)
Marlin – A sophisticated, overwater restaurant serving decadent seafood dishes. Open 12.30pm-2.30pm and 7pm-11pm. (Subject to availability & additional cost)
Hama Rhythmic Bar – Whilst the resort offers a tranquil feel, there is a place to party, and that’s here at Hama. Offering great music and fun cocktails, the venue is soundproof so there’s no worry about keeping everyone up at night. Open from 8pm until the last person leaves.
Iru Beach Bar – A lovely bar for the whole family, with sandy floors, refreshing drinks and snacks, and the resort’s signature gelato. Open 10am-6pm.
Fen Pool Bar – A stylish bar with 360-degree views of the pool and ocean, serving specialised drinks and crafted cocktails. Open 8am-12am.
