Day 1
Saturday
Fly from the UK to Italy and join Costa Mediterranea in Savona. Set sail in the late afternoon. You will have time to enjoy this wonderful 4 star ship.
Day 2
Sunday. At Sea
A leisurely day to get to know this ship. Meet the Italian officers and the crew and learn your way around. There is plenty to do day and night.
Day 3
Monday Malaga
Explore this wonderful Spanish city this afternoon. Perhaps try some tapas or a visit to Cortes Ingles the big Spanish department store. There are excursions to visit Purto Banus and you can go horse riding in the mountains.
Day 4
Tuesday. At Sea
A leisurely day sailing south towards Madeira. Find a quiet corner to read a book or visit the spa for treatments. Enjoy a show in the 3 story show lounge this evening.
Day 5
Wednesday. Madeira
A full day on the verdant island. You can stroll around town, take a walk on one of the levadas that criss-cross the island or do a tour or the whole island. The richness of the soil and temperate climate make this a botanist’s dream.
Day 6
Thursday. At sea
This is the first of 5 days crossing the Atlantic. Settle down for this wonderful experience.
Day 7
Friday At Sea
Try the gym, run on the jogging track or relax.
Day 8
Saturday. At Sea
Why not practice your ballroom dancing today.
Day 9
Sunday. At Sea
Time for book reading and leisurely meals.
Day 10
Monday. At sea
Pamper yourself in the spa; see a show, there is always lots to do.
Day 11
Tuesday. Arrive Barbados
An afternoon in Bridgetown Barbados. Take a visit to a south coast beach and enjoy the waves or go to the west coast for a quiet sunbathe. If not stroll around Bridgetown.
Day 12
Wednesday Grenada
An island tour of the Spice Island is available, or you can flop on attractive Grand Anse Beach.
Day 13
Thursday Roseau Dominica
This is an interesting island for an eco adventure. There are rainforests and mountains to see. This is a Caribbean island with a wonderful natural environment.
Day 14
Friday Martinique
Leave the ship today and fly to St Lucia for a three night stay at Almond Smugglers Cove.
Day 15
Saturday St Lucia
Almond Smugglers is a wonderful all inclusive resort with everything included.
Day 16
Sunday St Lucia
Why not take a tour on the island and see the only drive in volcano in the Caribbean, or take a catamaran for a sunset cruise.
Day 17
Monday St Lucia
Top up the tan, unfortunately it is your last day, unless you would like an extra week and include Christmas in the Caribbean. Santa arrives on a jet ski ....

Tuesday Fly
Fly home on your overnight flight to Gatwick arriving the following morning
