The Verandah Resort & Spa
Overview
Bordering the Devil’s Bridge National Park on Antigua’s stunning northeast coast, The Verandah Resort & Spa is a family-friendly all-inclusive resort.
Welcomed with a glass of delicious fruit punch, you’ll feel utterly relaxed from your first moment at the resort. The Verandah feels spacious and not at all crowded, with three pools and two white sand beaches. This is a resort that really caters to guests of all ages with opportunities to play tennis, go kayaking or even enjoy a trip on a catamaran. If you’re travelling with younger children there is crazy golf and an excellent Kids’ Club to keep them entertained; you can also prebook a babysitting service too.
We like the variety of dining options; there are three restaurants running under the guidance of Executive Chef Ronaldo Collantes. SeaBreeze has a wide range of buffet options, the Buccaneer is a relaxed, family-family dining experience and Nicole’s is ideal for fine dining.
The adjacent national park offers nature trails, making The Verandah perfect for wildlife-lovers and if you want a secluded escape from the resort, the uninhabited sanctuaries of Bird Island and Green Island are only a short boat trip away.
Top tip: we think it is well worth making a reservation at Buccaneer for a cosier dining experience, you’ll need to do this the day before. Alternatively, pay the supplement for Nicole’s for an intimate night.
The Verandah Resort & Spa is an Elite Island Resorts property.
