Overview

Sitting pretty among 37 acres of landscaped gardens, the secluded adult only Hawksbill by Rex Resorts is an all-inclusive resort in the west of Antigua. We love the sandy setting surrounded by four powdery beaches. Offering fantastic value for money, the Hawksbill is perfect for couples looking for the a Caribbean experience at a great price. We think the location is ideal too, just ten minutes from the capital, St. John’s and less than half an hour from the airport.

Antigua Tourism Guest Levy: A mandatory government ‘Tourism Guest Levy’ must be paid nightly by all hotel guests staying on the island. It is payable directly to the hotel or villa and will be applied to your hotel room account. The amount you will be charged is USD 5.00 per person per night. Please note that this tax is not optional and is subject to change.

Please note - this is an adult focussed resort.  Children aged 12 years and above are welcome, however the resort is quiet and not best-suited for a family holiday.

Those who love spending their holiday on the beach will be enamoured by this resort's beautiful location. Nestled on the west coast of Antigua near Landing Bay, this retreat is flanked by four secluded beaches, which frame 37 acres of luscious tropical garden. We a selection of bays to sink your toes into, you'll be blessed with a myriad of gorgeous ocean views.

  • The resort is a 40 minute drive from V C Bird International Airport.

A total of 106 rooms all featuring:

The following room types are available:

  • Garden view bungalow: situated close to Sea Grapes beach with private veranda and patio furniture. One king or two double beds. Maximum occupancy 2 adults
     
  • Superior seaview room: offering larger rooms located in the main two-storey building with views of Sea Grapes beach. Most units enjoy at least partial sea views, request first floor for better views or ground floor for easiest beach access.  One king-size or two double beds, sitting area and balcony or terrace. Rooms accommodate up to 3 adults.
     
  • Beachfront bungalow: single-storey bungalows set on Sea Grapes beach overlooking the sea, with unobstructed views and direct beach access. These are closest to the water-sports facilities and lunch-time dining. Maximum occupancy 2 adults with one king or two double bed
     
  • Great House Room:  Located on an elevated bluff the Great House Rooms are the most centrally positioned on property. Guests  will enjoy expansive sea views and uninterrupted vistas of the Hawksbill Rock and stunning sunsets. Originally designed as the sleeping rooms of a grand home with a central living area, these rooms now wrap around one of the resort’s small dining areas, flanked on either side by Royal Palm Beach and Sea Grapes Beach, and are just steps away from the new infinity pool. Book a Great House Room if you want a central location with easy access to common areas whilst enjoying ocean views.  Maximum occupancy 2 adults with one king bed.
     
  • Honeymoon Cove Bungalow:  Located on an elevated bluff at the southernmost point of the resort, these are the most secluded rooms and offer excellent unobstructed sea views, sunsets, and views of the Hawksbill Rock, as well as easy access to two beaches, including Eden Beach (clothing optional). Maximum occupancy 2 adults with one king bed.
     
  • Royal Palm Beach Bungalows - Located directly on  Royal Palm Beach, the first beach as you enter the property. Each room affords more private space than any other room category, and include a veranda with patio furniture and shade, as well as reserved beach loungers and a pergola to relax under on the beach. Maximum Occupancy 2 adults with one king bed or 2 double beds,


NOTE - Rooms do not have televisions but wi-fi is available for those who cannot switch off completely!

Two restaurants and bars as follows:

  • The Tamarind Tree: informal open-air buffet-style restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.
  • Sea Grapes Bar & Grill: serving light snacks, lunch and afternoon tea by the beach.
  • Tamarind Bar: friendly informal evening bar with live entertainment on select evenings.
  • BBQ: weekly barbeque dinner

Dress code

  • When dining for breakfast and lunch bathing suits must be covered.  Men may wear polo shrts or t-shirts with dress or swim shorts.  Women are asked to wear wraps over swimwear instead of t-shirts or sleeveless tops
  • In the evenings semi-formal attire is mandatory and shoes must be worn at all times.

Minimum age
Please note this property is an adult-only resort welcoming guests aged 16 years and older. 

Minimum Stay
There is a minimum stay of 7 nights from 21 December to 31  March and a minimum stay of 3 nights for all other travel periods.

Tourism Levy
A local tourism levy of US$5.00 per person per night is payable locally at the hotel
