If you have booked the CLASSIC wedding package, by upgrading your wedding package to either the PREMIER or LUXURY wedding, you could be saving even more money by booking one of these packages now rather than pay extra while in resort. Below we have listed a variety of extra special wedding extras you can choose for your special day. These prices act as a guide and will vary from hotel to hotel. Payment for any extras which are not included in the cost of your wedding should be made locally (prices are subject to change locally without notice).

At all the hotels, they are committed to making every event memorable while ensuring ultimate relaxation for all guests. To maintain privacy for wedding couples and promote the environment that all guests expect, Elegant Hotels is pleased to allow up to four non-registered guests to attend a wedding ceremony at the resort. These guests will be allowed to attend the ceremony free of charge at Colony Club.

We do not require any documents to be sent in advance (unless asked for in your wedding pack)
When you get there:
You will need to visit the Ministry of Home Affairs in Bridgetown to apply for your marriage licence. Please note that some wedding packages may not include the transfer cost to the Ministry.
ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS MUST BE TAKEN WITH YOU WHEN YOU TRAVEL.
Translation of documents
All legal documents must be in English or legally translated into English. All translated documents must be from a legal translator with letterhead, stamp and seal from the translator's office or notarised by a Notary Public. Occasionally the documentation will have to be sent to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for their approval before being sent back to the notary to sign.
The Wedding Ceremony
In most destinations, your wedding ceremony will be conducted Monday to Friday (excluding local holidays). In some destinations, local festivals and holidays will determine available wedding dates. Generally, your wedding will take place in the grounds of the hotel unless otherwise specified. Many hotels offer wedding gazebos for extra privacy. Some hotels may offer more than one wedding per day with the first wedding taking place at around 10am with the last wedding at 4pm. The majority of our weddings are conducted by a marriage officer whose title varies depending on the resort. Where it is possible to be married by a Minister, the ceremony will be non denominational unless otherwise stated and will be a Civil wedding.
Tropical Sky Weddings and the information given above only apply to couples:
• Born in the UK
• Have a valid UK passport (with some months validity on return home)
If couples do not fulfil these requirements they must advise us. Couples should be referred to the embassy of the country of origin and the country where they wish to marry as they may require extra documentation to satisfy their own embassy requirements – Tropical Sky cannot advise on this and couples must investigate this on their own.
As Tropical Sky weddings have no jurisdiction over hotels/resorts/venues/legal requirements and their charges, we cannot be responsible for any increases or changes to these wedding arrangements. We will, however, endeavour to advise you of changes as soon as we are made aware of them. All prices and legal requirements correct as of June 2013.

If you are staying at an all-inclusive resort, guests not staying at the same resort will need to purchase a day pass (where available) to attend the ceremony. Certain numbers, gender and age restrictions may apply. Several hotels provide their own group offers. These offers can only be organised at the time of booking your wedding and cannot be added on at a later date. If any passengers cancel at a later date and the number of adults drops below the required number, this offer will no longer be applicable. * free wedding subject to specific room category, duration & travel dates. Bookings of 10 rooms or more will also be subject to the terms and conditions of a group contract signed by both parties and minimum 10% deposit payable at time of booking.
