Antigua Tourism Guest Levy: A mandatory government ‘Tourism Guest Levy’ must be paid nightly by all hotel guests staying on the island. It is payable directly to the hotel or villa and will be applied to your hotel room account. The amount you will be charged is USD 5.00 per person per night. Hermitage Bay is tucked away in a hidden cove on the southwest coast of Antigua; enveloped by powder soft beaches and cerulean waters of the Caribbean Sea. Maintaining its own ecosystem, this area is a hive of natural beauty and home to various species of endemic plant life.

The property is approximately 30 minutes from the capital of St. John’s and 10 minutes from the Jolly Harbour Marina where you’ll find countless shops, restaurants, historic sites and activities.

The hotel provides 30 spacious and elegant stand-alone suites, nine of which are located on the beach and the rest are set just behid them or dotted throughout the hillside for exceptional views of the sea.

Room types:

  • Garden Pool Villa suite: feature partial views of the Caribbean Sea with a split-level bedroom and open-plan living area, outdoor shower, covered sun deck and furniture. These suites are set back from the beach, just behind the beach front suites, surrounded by tropical foliage.  The suite measures 115 sqm and sleeps 2 adults and 1 child (14-16yrs on a rollaway)
  • Beachfront Villa Suite: these suites are identical to the Garden suites above boasting a prime location, looking onto the beach with panoramic views of the beach adnd bay with view to St Kitts & Nevis.  These suites are just moments from the pool, lounge and restaurant.
  • Hillside Pool Villa Suite: set into the lush hillside, these suites overlook sensational panoramas of the surrounding landscape with views across to Montserrat and St Kitts & Nevis.  They have a terraced verandah with day beds and a private plunge pool with chaise lounges on the sunbathing deck.  The suite including the pool deck measures 155 sqm and sleep 2 adults.

  • Hermitage Bay Restaurant: offering picturesque views and a serene ambience, the hotel’s restaurant is an elegant venue with a unique and creative menu that changes daily for lunch and dinner. The food here is incredibly high quality and can be tailored to your tastes for a personal dining experience. The restaurant also offers live music in the evenings. Hermitage Bay also offers exclusive dining experiences for special occasions with a private meal on the beach or on your private terrace (minimum 24 hour notice required).
  • Lounge: located by the pool and beach, the lounge is a peaceful setting to relax with a cocktail and admire the views. In the evening, the lounge is an intimate retreat where you can enjoy canapés, coffees and drinks.

Dress code: when dining, closed in shoes must be worn, bathing suits must be covered and men must not wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts. After 6.30pm, men must wear long trousers and women must wear dresses, trousers or culottes (no shorts or short outfits).

Children aged 14-16 years and above are welcome year round and may share with two adults in the Seaview Garden or Beachfront Suites, with a maximum of two adults and one child per suite.

We feel this property is better suited to couples and romantic escapes with the tranquil atmosphere and indulgent feel providing the perfect setting for a honeymoon or relaxed beach break.

The all-inclusive programme includes:
