Antigua Tourism Guest Levy: A mandatory government ‘Tourism Guest Levy’ must be paid nightly by all hotel guests staying on the island. Flanked by two beaches, Curtain Bluff is located on the southwest coast of Antigua in a beautiful and tranquil location. Overlooking the rolling surf and sugary sands, this resort offers amazing views from every angle.

Situated just steps away from the Atlantic Ocean, you will find many stunning beaches dotted around the resort. If you’re looking to explore Antigua’s Capital, Saint John’s is a 40 minute drive. Here you will find museums, markets, handcrafted souvenirs and interesting historical sites.

Curtain Bluff is a 35 minute drive from the airport.
 

The resort features 72 rooms and suites.

Room types:

  • Deluxe Room Ocean View: set on the upper floor with a spacious veranda, views of the ocean and elegant decor. Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and one child 6yrs or over.
  • Deluxe Room Beachfront: located on the ground floor of a two-storey Caribbean-style villa situated on the stunning surf beach. Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and one child
  • Junior Suite Ocean View: moments from the beach with a sunken living room, marble bathroom, floor-to-ceiling glass doors leading to the veranda and views of the tropical scenery. Rooms are on the upper floor.  Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and two children 6yrs or over.
  • Junior Suite Beachfront: as above with rooms on the ground floor, located in two buildings on the surf beach. Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and two children.
  • Bluff Room: features a spacious terrace overlooking the beach with split-level interior and dining area.  Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and one child 6yrs or over.
  • One Bedroom Bluff Suite: features a large living room, garden patio with hammock, breakfast area, dining terrace and panoramic beach views. Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and two children 6yrs or over.
  • Two Bedroom Bluff Suite:  As above with an additional bedroom. Sleeps 5 adults or 4 adults and two children 6yrs or over.

The Hulford Pool Suite Collection (no children under 13 years are permiited in these suites)

  • Terrace Pool Suite: the perfect choice for couples and honeymooners, a unique suite with a private location. Positioned at the top of the bluff with breathtaking wiews, a large terrace and infinity edge plunge pool. Children under 13yrs are not permitted.
  • Cliff Pool Suite: luxurious suite with a spacious living room, large patio, infinity soaking pool and amazing views of Grace Bay beach. Children under 13yrs are not permitted.
  • Grace & Morris Bay Suites: stylish suites with a marble bathroom, colonial furniture, veranda, jacuzzi, loungers and either 1 or 2 spacious bedrooms. There is no twin bed option available for this suite. Children under 13yrs are not permitted.

Please note - Children under 6 years of age cannot be accommodated in the One Bedroom Suite owing to its split level design with multiple steps or in the Ocean View category of the deluxe rooms and junior suites owingto its upper floor location and style of balconies.

  • The Tamarind Tree: elegant restaurant serving a seasonal menu of locally sourced fish dishes, salads, tasty meats and delicious desserts.
  • Seagrape Restaurant: open-air venue, located at the end of the bay, moments from the water's edge with a casual atmosphere and an Italian/Antiguan-inspired menu. Open for lunch daily and dinner several days a week*. Dinner reservations required.
  • Wine Cellar: with over 400 carefully chosen wines from 10 countries.

Dress code
When dining, closed in shoes must be worn, bathing suits must be covered and men cannot wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts. After 6.30pm men must wear long trousers and women must wear dresses, trousers or culottes (no shorts or short outfits).

* Please note - Seagrape restaurant only accepts diners aged 13 years and over for evening dinner service.  Younger guests may dine at the Tamarind Tree either during children's meal hours (5.30-7.30pm) or while seated with their parents between 7-9pm.

Tennis at Curtain Bluff

The tennis centre features four championship hard courts kept in impeccable condition and lit for night play. A pro shop located an easy lob shot from the sea offers all the essentials you need for play.  Private lessons are available for $90 per hour.

Curtain Bluff plays host to many tennis events each year, most notably Antigua Tennis Week, held each spring. Started in 1975 as an island-wide professional tournament, it has evolved into an international pro-am tennis festival that attracts many of the biggest names in tennis. Another notable event is Tennis Challenge Week, held each November. Guests join former Davis Cup player Dick Stockton for a fun-filled week of tennis, relaxation, and celebratory events

 

Ceebee Kids' Club
For children aged 3 to 10 years. This fun-filled kids club features a great range of activities including T-shirt designing, beachcombing, cooking and movies. Open 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm five days a week

Babysitting
The resort offers a babysitting service, available upon request at an additional cost.

Children’s facilities
As well as the kids' club, there is also a games room with board games, computers and movies. Long days full of activities will certainly tire young guests out.
