Flight Information
Flights to Reunion operate via Mauritius with a total flying time of approximately 14 hours including a stop over in Mauritius. The only airline to fly to Reunion is Air Mauritius.

Visa Requirements
No visa is currently required for British or Irish passport holders. This should be re-checked on booking for any changes. Six months valid passport is required and you must have a return or onward ticket. All travellers should check full entry requirements prior to travel by visiting the FCO website or by contacting the relevant embassy.
Weather
Reunion has a sub-tropical climate, meaning warm pleasant weather all year round. A pleasant trade southeast trade wind also generally cools the hotter days and keeps temperatures manageable even in hot summer months. May to December is ideal for visiting while January and February are best avoided by water sport enthusiasts due to the potential of cyclones. Cyclones do however regularly skip over this island entirely! The weather here is more often than not very warm and sunny.
Language
English is the official language, though Mauritian Creole, a French dialect is spoken prominently. Chinese and Hindi are also spoken in certain communities.

The Mauritius Rupee. Euros or Pounds can be changed in local banks or money exchange offices.
