Flight and Transfers

Flights from Dublin to Krabi International Airport take approximately 13 hours.

Visa Requirements

For stays of less than 30 days, Irish passport holders do not require visa. You’ll just need six months validity on the passport and a return/onward ticket. You may need to prove you have sufficient funds for the duration of your stay.

Language

Thai is the official language but you shouldn’t have any trouble finding English speakers in Krabi, and all of the major hotels and tourist areas will have staff fluent in English.

Transportation

The only forms of public transport are songthaews (pick-up trucks) and taxis. You can travel around the islands via boats.
