Days 1-3
Start your Balinese journey in Canggu, a newly emerging resort area away from the international crowds of nearby Kuta, at the exotic and whimsical Hotel Tugu, as much a museum of Balinese art and culture as it is a boutique hotel. Spend 3 nights on the beach, enjoying the resort facilities and natural surroundings.
Days 4-7
On day 4 take a private transfer inland to the must-see destination of Ubud with its cultural charms, rice terraces, temples, shopping and all manor of outdoor activities. Your base in Ubud is Komaneka at Bisma, just outside of central Ubud with a stunning jungle setting. After 4 nights of fun and relaxation in the island's cultural heart.
Days 8-11
A private driver will collect you for a scenic drive north to an unspoilt area on the north west coast surrounded by the 77,000 hectare Bali Barat National Park. The Menjangan Resort is set in tropical forest on the edge of the national park, with the protected Marine Park and views out to Menjangan island. The waters around the island, which is inhabited only by deer and temples, are known for some of the best diving in the world; it's also the perfect spot for snorkelling, teeming with fish right off the beaches. Enjoy some underwater adventure and some exploration of the north coast during your 3 night stay before heading back to the airport for your flight home.
