Medieval Dubrovnik across the bay is a must to visit and can be accessed by taxi in 30 minutes, or alternatively take a relaxed 45 minutes by boat. Closer to home, the hotel offers 487 modern rooms and suites, access to two quiet beaches, one facing Cavtat Bay the other the crystal-clear Adriatic, an outdoor pool shaded by pine trees, a spa and numerous restaurants.

Hotel Croatia offers four distinctively styled restaurants, all with cinematic sea views to be enjoyed alongside award-winning cuisine, ranging from traditional local classics to international favourites. There are two stylish bars, one of which hosts regular live music performances.

  • Cavtat– With beautiful views of the picturesque bay and Cavtat Town, Cavtat buffet restaurant opens to an atmospheric terrace where you can see the ancient Roman ruins of Epidaurum, the original town on which Cavtat was built on. Open daily for breakfast and dinner, the kitchen prepares a menu of Mediterranean classics, freshly baked pastries and irresistibly fresh breads. Breakfast 6.30 am -10am, Dinner 7pm – 10pm.
  • Alverde Restaurant and Bar – The most sought-after seats are those on the terrace overlooking Cavtat Bay. Dine from an international menu of tantalising dishes ranging from pasta and risotto to fresh fish and salads. Open 10am-6pm.
  • Spinaker Restaurant – Perched above the platform beach, admire the fabulous sea views and twinkling lights of Dubrovnik in the distance, this is the spot to spend a laid-back evening with a good bottle of wine. A sublime seafood menu offers baby octopus, scampi, lobster, scallops, tuna and of course catch of the day. At lunchtime you can enjoy a special menu introducing you to simple traditional Dalmatian cooking. Open 10am – midnight.
  • Steakhouse Restaurant Cavtat – One of the hotels signature restaurants with the atmosphere of a classic Wild West eatery. From the seasonal menu try a classic rib-eye steak, cooked on the huge grill in the centre of the restaurant, accompanied with the signature BBQ sauce. Open 6pm – midnight.
  • Sirocco Bar - Set directly on the rocky beach at the foot of the hotel, it is s convenient place to enjoy free juices, smoothies and ice creams. Open 10am - 6pm.
  • Piano Bar – A contemporary lounge, that has large in door and out door spaces, in a lively atmosphere with breath-taking views. In the evening enjoy the sultry sounds of live pianist whilst enjoying a pre-dinner aperitif or a classic cocktail.
