Overview

Cap Maison is one of St Lucia’s finest luxury resorts; a gorgeous blend of traditional Spanish-Caribbean design with sophisticated facilities. The grounds mix tiled floors, terracotta accents, delightfully manicured gardens and a central water feature. The result is an airy but intimate space that’s simultaneously lavish and understated.

Treated on arrival to a floral scent of lemongrass, you’re handed cold towel and a welcome drink by the smiling staff – that feeling of genuine personal service will be with you throughout your stay. There’s a really cosy and friendly feel to the resort, offering a secluded and romantic atmosphere that would be ideal for couples or honeymooners. There’s a spa on site as well as Rock Maison, a truly unique dining experience.

The show-stealer might well be The Cliff at Cap – the resort’s signature restaurant. Offering panoramic views and friendly Caribbean-style service, the food will blow you away. Sample jerk-seasoned steak and freshly caught seafood, all cooked to perfection. But make sure you save room for the divine desserts.

The beach is accessible via a long-winding stairway surrounded by shrubbery. But even more impressive is the main pool, gazing out onto the sparkling blue of the Caribbean Sea – you could spend hours just chilling out here and enjoying the view.

The resort is situated on the north-western coast of St Lucia on the Cap Estate, a former sugar plantation. Offering views out onto the Caribbean Sea as well as Pigeon Island and the neighbouring Martinique, this is a truly scenic location. Rodney Bay is only a short drive if you’re looking for shops and restaurants and you’re also close to two great golf courses. Due to its position on the hillside, this resort would not be ideal for those with limited mobility.

  • The resort is around an hour and a half drive from St Lucia’s international airport, located right at the south of the island. You’ve also got the option to arrive in style with a jaw-dropping helicopter journey across the centre of the island, reducing the journey time to about half an hour

 

Arrive in Style - All guests booking a One Bedroom Ocean View Suite with pool or a One Bedroom Ocean View Suite with Pool and roof terrace, for 5 nights or more, will receive either a complimentary luxury car, boat or helicopter transfer on arrival, and luxury car transfer on departure. 

Please note that helicopter transfers only operate in daylight hours and do not operate at dusk/poor visibility.  The late arrival of some flights may mean this option is not available, but this will be confirmed when finalising your reservation.  Guests arriving on earlier flights from North America or other Caribbean islands may be able to benefit from the boat transfer, but this not available to anyone arriving on flights from Europe.

The following room types are available:

  • Garden View Room – these spacious rooms are simple yet refined with hand-painted tiled in the shower and king-size beds (twin beds available on request).   Each room has a balcony or terrace.  Accommodates two adults and one infant under 3 yrs in a cot. Size: 43 sqm
  • Junior Suite – these large rooms have a separate sitting and dining area and enjoy lovely garden and partial ocean views from the private veranda.  Accommodates two adults and one child under 12 yrs on a rollaway bed but are perfectly suited to couples.  Size: 46 sqm.
  • Spanish Courtyard Suite – Generously sized villa suites overlooking the pretty courtyard and pool, these feature a separate living/dining area and a large private terrace or balcony accessed by the bedroom and living area.  These suites suit a couple seeking space and luxury living but are brilliant for young families who can safely oversee children playing in the courtyard pool and want the benefit of a fully equipped kitchen. Sleeps two adults with up two children under 12yrs or one teenager on rollaway beds in the living area (Ceiling fan only).  Size: 185 sqm.
  • Ocean View Suite - Overlooking the Naked Fisherman Beach and surrounded by beautiful gardens, these rooms offer views out to the Caribbean Sea and out to Martinique. These large split-level suites have a downstairs living area with private veranda, and upstairs there is a four-poster king size bed, walk-in wardrobe and an outside private whirlpool tub on the balcony.  A great choice for romantic couples, but not suitable for those who have difficulty with stairs.  Sleeps two adults with up two children under 12yrs or one teenager on rollaway beds in the living area (ceiling fan only).  Size: 223 sqm.
  • Ocean View Villa Suite with Pool - Spacious villa suites with their own private pools and wonderful ocean views.  Sleeps two adults with up two children aged 7-12yrs or one teenager on rollaway beds in the living area (ceiling fan only) - children under 6yrs are not permitted.  Size: 232 sqm.
  • Ocean View Villa Suite with Pool and Roof Terrace – The most luxurious accommodation at Cap Maison, each villa has its own private rooftop and pool, with endless ocean and mountain views.  A large master bedroom leads off the living/dining room, and the kitchen and huge private verandas offer great private dining options.  Occupancy as above.  Size: 170 sqm living space with 91 sqm roof terrace

  • Two- and Three-Bedroom Villas - Comfortable and spacious villa suites located in the Spanish Courtyard, overlooking the pretty courtyard pool.  All feature a separate living/dining area and a large private terrace or balcony.  The Two Bedroom Villa has a Master Bedroom with King-size bed and an interconnecting second bedroom with queen or twin beds.  Size: 228 sqm.  The Three Bedroom Villa has another king-size bedroom adjacent to the Master room.  Size: 275 sqm
  • Two and Three Bedroom Oceanview Villas with pools - Spacious luxury villas located on the ground floor with a large separate living/dining area with wonderful ocean views.  The Two Bedroom Villa has a Master Bedroom with King-size bed and an interconnecting second bedroom with queen or twin beds.  Size: 275 sqm.  The Three Bedroom Villa has another king-size bedroom adjacent to the Master room.  Size: 320 sqm
  • Two and Three Bedroom Oceanview Villas with pool and roof terrace - Exceptionally spacious villas with the benefit of a private roof top terrace and pool.  A large master bedroom leads off the living/dining room, kitchen and huge private verandas.  The Two Bedroom Villa has a Master Bedroom with King-size bed and an interconnecting second bedroom with queen or twin beds.  Size: 320 sqm.  The Three Bedroom Villa has another king-size bedroom adjacent to the Master room.  Size: 368 sqm

For all villas, the occupancy is 2 guests per bedroom, plus up to 2 children or one teenager on a rollaway bed in the living area.  Children under 7 years are not permitted in the pool villas.

 

Dining at Cap Maison is one of the real pleasures of staying here. The supremely talented Executive Chef Craig Jones creates some of St Lucia’s most delicious food.

  • The Cliff at Cap – this is Cap Maison’s signature restaurant, perched on the cliff looking over the Caribbean Sea, you’re treated to truly marvellous views during your meals. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menus for each sitting are extensive, varied and always delicious serving a blend of West Indian dishes influenced by modern European cooking
  • The Naked Fisherman – sitting on the beach, this casual and relaxed restaurant offer international favourites and local specialities just steps from the sand – don’t miss the delicious fresh seafood
  • Rock Maison – for special occasions, there aren’t many dining experiences that can match Rock Maison. Sitting on the wooden deck offers panoramic views of the ocean and the mellow sounds of waves kissing the shoreline. Drinks are zip-lined direct to your table and you can enjoy a sumptuous private dinner for two that you’ll never forget
  • Cliff Bar – located on the top level of the Cliff at Cap restaurant, the Cliff Bar offers an extensive cocktail menu alongside wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks. Try the B.B.C cocktail for a truly authentic taste of the Caribbean
