Day 1

Great Rift Valley

Upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be picked-up and driven through the beautiful Great Rift Valley to Loldia House, where you will enjoy lunch on the lawn overlooking Mt Longonot.

Loldia House is located on the shores of Lake Naivasha, just a two-hour drive from Nairobi.  Spend the afternoon on the farm, enjoying the prolific bird-life on the lake and shore. After a sumptuous meal in the cosy dining room retire to your room furnished in the original settler style.

Overnight: Loldia House, Lake Naivasha

Day 2

Great Rift Valley

After an early breakfast served under the ancient fig tree, you will depart to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive and lunch, this time served under the Acacia trees overlooking the lake. Lake Nakuru is famous for its abundance of water birds and large numbers of rhino, and there is also a good chance of spotting leopard.  After a memorable day in this beautiful area, return to Loldia House in the afternoon and enjoy some down-time at the infinity swimming pool, or take a wander around the souvenir shop in the main house. Dinner again will be taken in the main dining room.

Overnight: Loldia House, Lake Naivasha

Day 3

Masai Mara

After breakfast served on the lawns of Loldia House, you will be transferred to the Loldia airstrip for your short flight to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival in the Masai Mara you will enjoy a short game drive en-route to Governors’ Camp. After lunch you’ll have some time to relax in this luxury camp, situated within the Masai Mara National Reserve before heading out for your afternoon game drive.  On returning to camp you will have the chance to enjoy (at extra cost) pre-dinner drinks around the campfire followed by a candlelit dinner in the dining tent, before settling down for the night in your extremely comfortable and well-equipped tent.

Overnight: Governor’s Camp, Masai Mara

Day 4

Masai Mara

Today you have the option of an early rise in order to experience one of the most amazing game views you will ever partake in – from a hot air balloon (at extra cost). After this breath-taking experience what could be more fitting than to enjoy a champagne breakfast, freshly cooked in the middle of the Mara. If you prefer you can just take the early morning game drive and experience the thrill of spotting wildlife from the comfort of your 4x4 vehicle. You will be able to take advantage of another two game drives during the remainder of the day.

Overnight: Governor’s Camp, Masai Mara.

Day 5

Masai Mara

Wake to the sounds of nature and partake in a coffee before heading off on your early morning game drive. On returning to camp you will be greeted by a delicious breakfast.  Take some time to relax around camp and reminisce about the wonderous sights you have seen during your adventure, or maybe participate in a walking safari with one of the Camps’ resident professional guides (at extra cost). You have the option of two more game drives before your final candlelit meal.

Overnight: Governor’s Camp, Masai Mara.

Day 6

Masai Mara

Awake for breakfast at the camp.  It is then time to say goodbye to your African adventure as you are collected and transferred to the airstrip to catch the scheduled flight to Nairobi Wilson airport.

Following your tour, there is the option to extend your holiday with an onward journey to some of Africa’s popular beach locations. From here, beach stay destinations can include Mombasa and Zanzibar.
