Be picked up from your hotel and take to the Thapae Gate where you will meet your samlor driver and start your experience. Your first stop on this temple tour will be Wat Laam Chang notable for a very old brick chedi followed by Wat Chiang Man, Chiang Mai’s oldest temple. From here you will discover Wat Phra Sing, Chiang Mai’s most revered temple and home to the most venerated Buddha statue in Northern Thailand, the Phra Chao Thong Tip. Take a short journey to Wat Phuak Hong temple and Wat Phuak Taem where local people make ornaments for the temple roofs by hand.

After, you will drive onto the Chiang Mai Gate Market, which is the most popular market located within the moat. Wander around the market tasting some of the fresh local delicacies before jumping back on the samlor to make your way to Wat Chedi Luang temple.
