Overview
This luxurious hotel truly embodies the romance of the Far East, adding a mix of luxury, rich history and colonial design to the heart of Singapore’s business district.
We love the classic colonial architecture – preserved since 1887, the grand building adds a stark contrast to the city’s modern skyscrapers. The interiors are just as lavish and breath-taking, featuring 103 beautifully decorated suites that all overlook the luscious tropical gardens.
Many famous people have rested their head in this timeless hotel, with 12 of the suites being named after some of the most esteemed – including the Charlie Chaplin suite. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have also visited this beloved hotel, so you’ll be sure to feel like royalty here.
This elegant hotel offers plentiful of sumptuous restaurants and bars too, prepared using the freshest of ingredients, and charming butlers are always on hand to make you feel at home. If you ever fancy leaving your deluxe suite, the bustling Orchard Road shopping strip is only a two minute Mass Rapid Transit ride away, or simply walk around in awe at Singapore’s fast pace and beautiful architecture.
Raffles Singapore is not just a hotel, it is a national monument and it will be undergoing a thorough, sensitive renovation in three phases, throughout 2017, with a grand re-opening in 2018 (full details are below under Important Information).

Extensive renovations are taking place at Raffles Singapore in 2017. A hotel of this calibre will continue to prioritise its guests' comfort and enjoyment at all times, but there will be amendments to the facilities available during the three phases of work.
Phase 1 - April 2017 - July 2017
The Long Bar, Long Bar Steakhouse, Raffles Courtyard, Ah Teng's Bakery and the retail arcade are currently closed. The Singapore Sling will still continue to be served at the hotel’s Bar & Billiard Room.
Phase 2 - August 2017 until November 2017
Renovation of some hotel suites with reduced dining outlets. All dining experiences, including Singapore Sling, will be served at Bar & Billiard Room. The spa, pool and fitness centre will be closed; special arrangements have been made for guests to enjoy these facilities at the sister property, Fairmont Singapore, located just across the street.
Phase 3 - End of 2017 until Mid-2018
Raffles Singapore will be completely closed until its grand re-opening.
