The Royal Sands is located on Sok San Beach on the western side of Koh Rong, surrounded by tropical jungle and a beautiful stretch of white sand. Wonderfully secluded, it's the perfect place to unwind after exploring Cambodia, as well as an ideal choice for those looking for a relaxing two-week beach getaway.
The resort can be reached by a 45-minute boat journey from Sihanoukville, travelling directly to its private jetty. Please note that in high winds, your boat transfer may need to disembark at an alternative jetty, in which case a short road transfer will be required once you reach the island.
You can fly to Sihanoukville on a domestic flight from Siem Reap, or travel by road from Phnom Penh, which takes approximately 2–2.5 hours, before continuing to the island by boat.

Ocean Restaurant - An open-sided pavilion overlooking the beach, Ocean Restaurant is the resort's main dining venue. Start the day with an extensive buffet breakfast before returning in the evening for an à la carte menu combining Asian favourites with international flavours.
Chill Bar & Restaurant - Set beside the beach and main pool, this relaxed venue is perfect for a casual lunch, light bites and refreshing drinks throughout the day and evening. The Chill bar is the perfect place to settle in the evening and watch the sun go down over the Gulf of Thailand.
Private in-villa dining is also available, allowing you to enjoy a meal from the comfort of your own terrace, poolside, or right on the beach.
