Overview

Grand Hotel La Favorita is a real gem in Sorrento’s crown. This boutique-style hotel boasts a cliff-top setting overlooking the Bay of Naples, and is home to stunning gardens and impressive on-site facilities.

The pool area enjoys a lofty position on the fourth floor and affords stunning views and spacious terraces to soak up the sunshine. No need to wander far for refreshments; the adjoining terraces offer a snack and drinks service. The garden is the perfect spot to relax with a book or sip a cappuccino as you enjoy the view. If you want to take a stroll, the seafront is easily accessible.

There’s an air of luxury about the place. It’s modern, yet classically Italian. The fresh Mediterranean white’s and blues make the interiors feel bright and airy. The décor follows suit in the bedrooms. Some have Vietri tiled floors with high frescoed ceilings and they all have outdoor space – either a terrace or balcony.

Sink into the comfy white leather chesterfields beneath the twinkling chandeliers, with a cocktail in hand, in the American Bar before dinner. There are some lovely options when it comes to dining here. The Tiffany Restaurant is an elegant setting where you can enjoy delicious fresh dishes, from pasta to lobster. The Parrucchiano Restaurant is a must, while you’re here. It’s known as the birthplace of cannelloni – head here to try the delicious pasta dish for yourself.

  • Superior Garden View Room – Offers a balcony which overlooks the old historic town of Sorrento and the beautiful gardens of the hotel. All rooms are bright and spacious and furnished to a very high standard. Sleeps up to three adults.
  • Deluxe Double Partial Sea View – Located between the second and third floors, each bathroom décor is Italian marble with precious majolica tiles and is equipped with a bath and shower. An added benefit is you receive your own personalised concierge service. Sleeps up to three adults.

  • Tiffany Restaurant – a rich breakfast is served in this classy and elegant location. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner where local produce is sourced and served by Italy’s finest chefs. Open 7am-10am, 12pm – 3.30pm, 7pm – 10.30pm  
  • Parrucchiano – has been open since 1868 and is famous around the world for its cannelloni dish which was invented in Sorrento over 100 years ago. Owned by the hotel, the restaurant is only 200 metres away.
  • Bellavista Terrace – enjoy a spectacular view of the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, whilst enjoying lunch or a refreshing cocktail. Open midday – 4pm
  • American Bar – enjoy a pre or after dinner drink in the hotel’s luxury lounge which is dominated by beautiful whiteness and luxurious chesterfields.
