Overview

See the fascinating plains of Kenya and the stunning beaches of the Seychelles in just one holiday with this fabulous holiday.

Start with an adventure in Kenya's Masai Mara famed for its abundant big cats.  Your accommodation will be in the modern built Ol Kenyei Cottages.  Carefully crafted to blend into the hillside, these stunning cottages offer luxurious accommodation and service whilst being constructed to the highest environmental standards.

Next, head to the Seychelles.  Set in the verdant, exotic flora of northwest Mahé, Constance Ephélia has a breath-taking backdrop of rainforest-clad mountains. The resort is bordered by two stunning beaches, whilst a luscious mangrove forest separates the north of the resort from the south. One of our favourite excursions at the resort is a kayak expedition from the south beach to the mangrove forest – a scenic journey that provides a unique way to while away the afternoon.

Seychelles Environmental Levy
A mandatory government 'Environmental Levy' will be applied nightly to all hotel, yacht and vessel guests staying on the island. The levy is payable directly to the establishment and will be applied to your account either at check-in or at check-out. The amount varies according to the size of the establishment, yacht or vessel. 
- Establishment with more than 51 rooms, yachts and island resorts: The fee is SCR 100 (approx. £6) per room per night
- Establishments with 25 -50 rooms, the fee is SCR 75 (approx. £4) per room per night
- Establishments with 24 rooms or less is exempt from the levy

Day 1

On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met at the airport and transported to your overnight stay to relax and get into the time zone before your adventure starts in the morning.  No meals are included this evening.  Upgraded hotels are available if you prefer something a little more comfortable.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will be met and transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport for your short flight to the Masai Mara National Park. This is where the adventure begins – you’ll be picked up by a 4x4 vehicle and taken to the Porini Cottages located in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy in the north of the Masai Mara eco system.

After you’ve had a chance to check in and freshen up you’ll head straight back out in a 4x4 for an afternoon game drive. In the evening you’ll return to the camp. Here you’ll relax under the stars and rest up under your canvas accommodation. The soothing sounds of the Mara will lull you off to sleep.

Days 3-4

Your next three days will be spent at the camp with two further game drives included on each day of your stay. You also have the opportunity to take an optional full day trip with a picnic lunch trip into the Masai Mara Reserve.

You may also choose to upgrade your adventure with a hot air balloon ride across the plains of the Masai Mara (you will need to reserve this before travelling, preferably at time of booking to guarantee availability). This will give you the chance to see the landscape from a different perspective and enjoy views of the elephants, wildebeest, lions and other animals below.

Day 5

After a morning game drive and breakfast you’ll check out and transfer to the local airstrip for your short flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport.  You will be met and transported to Nairobi International Airport for your flight to the Seychelles later that afternoon.  [Note flight times may require an additional stay in Nairobi – your safari advisor will let you know for your chosen dates]

On touchdown in this tropical paradise you’ll be transferred to the Constance Ephélia, where you’ll spend five nights.

Day 6-10

Enjoy your stay at this wonderful hotel. Split into two parts, Constance Ephélia is one of the largest resorts in the Seychelles, though it doesn’t feel like it. Instead it feels intimate and secluded. The north of the resort is home to the Senior Suites and villas, as well as two a la carte restaurants, the beautiful Port Launay National Marine Park, ziplining and rock climbing. Meanwhile, the south is home to more facilities – including the soothing spa, the kid’s club, tennis courts, three restaurants and a bar – alongside the Junior Suites and Tropical Garden View Rooms, and the jaw-dropping Ans L’Islette beach

Overnight: Constance Ephélia, Seychelles, Half Board

Day 11

Sadly, it is time to head for home.  You will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.

Any of our Kenya Safaris can be tailored for your safari stay and any of our Seychelles hotels can be used for any length of stay.  If you have a little extra time to spare we highly recommend an island hop in the Seychelles to experience even more diverse stunning scenery.
