CIVIL wedding in Bali only.  Couples must be UK Citizens and have a valid UK passport.  If you are of any other nationality or don’t have a UK passport please contact us.

Documents Required:

• Valid UK passport which expires more than 6 months after the date of your return to the UK.
• The original of your birth certificate, showing your parents' names.
• 8 passport sized photos (4cm by 6cm)  (Must be photographed as a couple with – Bride on the right.  No bare shoulders on display)
• Completed Affirmation of Marital Status form (supplied by Tropical Sky and endorsed at the Consular Office in Bali)
• Completed Affidavit of Marital status (supplied by Tropical Sky and endorsed at the Consular Office in Bali)

If Required

• If you have been divorced, the original of your decree absolute.
• If you have been widowed, the original copy of your partner's death certificate.
• If you have changed your name, the original copy of the deed poll proof of name change will be required.  Please note that if you have been divorced and have reverted to using
• your maiden name then this counts as a change of name, and proof of that change will be required.
• If you were adopted, the original copy of your adoption certificate.

Guests marrying in Bali will need to send photocopies of the documents listed to us at least 12 weeks before the date of travel.

When you get there:

You will be taken to the Consulate in Bali to have your Certificate of No Impediment/Affidavit endorsed by the Consulate.  Endorsement cost is approx. £55 per person and is not included in the wedding package cost.  All documents except your passport will be translated into Bahasa Indonesia by an appointed legal & certified translator in Bali for Indonesia Registry Office to issue the legal marriage certificate, this will be arranged by Bali Tours in resort.  Cost for this is not included in the wedding package and costs approx. IDR 250 per document.

ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS MUST BE TAKEN WITH YOU WHEN YOU TRAVEL

Tropical Sky Weddings and the information given above only apply to couples born in the UK & have a valid UK passport (with some months validity on return home).  If couples do not fulfil these requirements they must advise us.  Couples should be referred to the embassy of the country of origin and the country where they wish to marry as they may require extra documentation to satisfy their own embassy requirements – Tropical Sky cannot advise on this and couples must investigate this on their own.  As Tropical Sky weddings have no jurisdiction over hotels/resorts/venues/legal requirements and their charges, we cannot be responsible for any increases or changes to these wedding arrangements.  We will, however, endeavour to advise you of changes as soon as we are made aware of them.  All prices and legal requirements correct as of October 2015.
