Even if you’d rather stay within the luxury confines of your resort, Havana presents a very unusual and difference place to see. There are plenty of bars and clubs that are great for partying, and this is the place to interact with locals and find out about daily life here. Of course Havana is crumbling a little these days and life isn’t always easy, so be prepared for a culture shock.
Cuba is famous for its mesmerising beaches dotted along the coasts. Varadero has wonderful white sand and impressive amenities. It’s also a great place for water-sports whether you’re a complete beginner, or you’ve done it a thousand times.
Cuba has a number of great spots for diving. Usually your resort will be able to arrange excursions, so talk to them on arrival.
