Located in Fiji’s popular “Mamanuca” archipelago Likuliku Lagoon Resort is set amongst sparkling azure waters, silky ribbons of pristine beach and lush, jungle-clad mountains. We offer two wedding packages for this resort, starting with the Classic Wedding, which features a bottle of French Champagne on arrival, a personal wedding coordinator and fresh floral decorations for the ceremony. Our Premier Wedding package further treats you to a bridal posey and buttonhole for the groom, a Fijian Choir & Warrior Escorts and traditional Fijian wedding attire, as well as a luxurious spa treatment for the bride & groom, a second bottle of champagne for toasting and a candlelit dinner for two on the terrace.

Located in Fiji’s popular “Mamanuca” archipelago amongst pristine waters, Likuliku Lagoon Resort is a haven for couples who wish to recapture their romantic spirit. Weddings at Likuliku can range from the simplest ceremony through to the popular Fijian Celebration. Likuliku has designed two very special Wedding Packages, the Classic & the Premier, to combine the most essential requirements for any style or sized ceremony. 

Likuliku can customise the occasion to accommodate any special needs or individual wishes and include a choice of romantic ceremony locations such as the beach at sunset, around the magnificent horizon-edge pool or on the deck of one of Fiji’s only over-water bures.

Getting Legally Married in Fiji

  • Minimum stay before wedding: 2/3 working days (hotel dependent)
  • Minimum age: 18 years old (Consent of parents or guardian if under 21)
  • Weddings take place: Monday – Friday 

Documents Required

  • Copies of full birth certificates & copies of passports
  • A certificate of Single Status affidavit (regardless if single or previously married)

If applicable

  • Decree Absolute required.
  • Death Certificate of former spouse if applicable
  • Copies of any change of name by Deed Poll (if applicable)

Before you travel:

Guests marrying in Fiji will need to send photocopies of the documents listed to us at least 12 weeks before the date of the wedding.  All of the Fijian properties pre-organize your Special License prior to arrival,  therefore you do not need to go to the Registry Office on arrival and can go straight to your respective Resorts/Hotels provided Tropical Sky receive we receive the documents listed to us at least 12 weeks before the date of the wedding (no later than 1 month before). Failure to send copies before departure will result in you having to visit the Registry Office and purchasing the Fiji Special licence while in resort.

Tropical Sky Weddings and the information given above only apply to couples that were born in the UK & Ireland & have a valid UK/Irish passport (with some months validity on return home).  If couples do not fulfil these requirements they must advise us.  Couples should be referred to the embassy of the country of origin and the country where they wish to marry as they may require extra documentation to satisfy their own embassy requirements – Tropical Sky cannot advise on this and couples must investigate this on their own.  As Tropical Sky weddings have no jurisdiction over hotels/resorts/venues/legal requirements and their charges, we cannot be responsible for any increases or changes to these wedding arrangements.  We will, however, endeavor to advise you of changes as soon as we are made aware of them.  All prices and legal requirements correct as of May 2017.
