DAY 1

Departure flight from Dublin to Luxor. On arrival, transfer to the Rihana Dahabiya for embarkation. Overnight on board this luxurious vessel with personal service. Afternoon visit to Luxor and Karnak Temples. Overnight on the West Bank.

DAY 2

This morning you visit the West Bank, including Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Esna. Overnight beside an island.

DAY 3

Sail to Edfu and visit the Temple of Edfu. Sail to Al Ramady Island for overnight stay.

DAY 4

Sail to el Sheikh Fadl Island, tea and dinner on the island before sailing on to Aswan. Overnight on board.

DAY 5

Arrive in Aswan, visit Philae Temple and the High Dam. Afternoon at leisure in Aswan.

DAY 6

This morning you have the opportunity to take an optional excursion to Abu Simbel. In the afternoon, sail to Kom Ombo and visit the temple. Sail on to el Ramady Island. Overnight on board.

DAY 7

Sail to Esna and on to Luxor. Overnight on the West Bank.

DAY 8

Disembarkation in Luxor and transfer for return flight to the Dublin ** you may have to spend an additional night in Cairo at the end of you holiday subject to flight connections back to Dublin.

Cabins

The Dahabiya Rihana is a small, beautifully crafted wooden ship, similar to the luxury river boats used by the Pharoahs and ancient Egyptians. It provides deluxe accommodation and complete cruising facilities. The Rihana has 8 deluxe cabins, 2 cabins with large King beds and 6 cabins with Twin beds.

Ship Activities

Dining facilities. Wonderful meals are served in a shady area of the sundeck, or downstairs in the airconditioned lounge. guest are welcome to visit the kitchen and to even learn how to cook Egyptian food with the chef
Bar The bar is on the sundeck, but drinks can be taken anywhere. Only local Egyptian wine, spirits and beer are available. You are welcome to bring your own duty free with you. There is no corkage charge
