DAY 1

Day 1: Hanoi

Arrive in Hanoi and check into your hotel.

Day 2: Halong Bay

Depart for World Heritage listed Halong Bay for a two day cruise through thousands of limestone islands and spend the night on a traditional junk. Explore caves, kayak, swim, sunbathe and dine on traditional Vietnamese seafood dishes. (B,L,D)

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hoi An

Rise to the calm of the Bay before exploring a magnificent cave. In the afternoon fly south to the picturesque fishing village of Hoi An in the centre of the country. (B,L)

Day 4: Hoi An

Relax in the morning and after lunch visit this charming town on foot, followed by dinner in one of Hoi An’s many excellent restaurants.(B)

Day 5: Hoi An

Take a short boat trip to visit local handicraft villages or experience a cooking class in a beautiful villa on the banks of the river. Afternoon is free to relax on the beach or take advantage of the many tailor shops. (B,L)

Day 6: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City

Depart Hoi An for bustling HCMC. Soak up the atmosphere with a guided tour of the city. In the evening experience Saigon by night on a dinner cruise along the Saigon River. (B,D)

Day 7: Cao Dai Temple and Cu Chi Tunnels

Visit the fascinating Cao Dai Temple, home to a unique religion. From the temple visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels from the Vietnam War before returning to the city. (B,L)

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap

Fly to Siem Reap and spend the afternoon visiting the amazing and awe inspiring temples of Angkor, climbing to the top of one of the imposing remains for a truly memorable sunset. (B)

Day 9 and 10: Siem Reap (Angkor Temples)

Spend the next two days exploring Angkor temples. Each displays individual and unique architecture. Witness the splendor of these magnificent creations around every corner. (B,L)

Day 11: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

Fly to the capital, Phnom Penh, and enjoy an afternoon city tour. (B)

Day 12: Phnom Penh - Vientiane

Bid farewell to Cambodia and fly to Vientiane. Go on a short city tour taking in the mix of architectural styles and watch the sunset over the Mekong River. (B)

Day 13: Vientiane - Luang Prabang

After a tour of Vientiane’s temples fly to the charming town of Luang Prabang, set amongst mountains and dotted with golden temples home to saffron robed monks. You will quickly understand why Luang Prabang is a World Cultural Heritage site. (B,L)

Day 14: Luang Prabang

Visit museums, markets and a weaving village, then enjoy a boat cruise on the Mekong River to the holy caves of Pak Ou. (B)

Day 15: Depart Luang Prabang

Morning at leisure and if you are feeling energetic rise early to see the monks collecting their alms. Explore this Golden City of monasteries and temples before flying home. (B)
