Rooms & Accommodation

Grand Pineapple Beach Antigua’s rooms are in 5 categories and all in either one, two or three storey buildings. All accommodations has air-conditioning, king, double or queen sizes beds, ceiling fan, hair dryer, telephone, iron & board, private bath or shower, safe, colour cable T.V. and coffee/tea maker.

• Standard Rooms are furnished with rattan furnishing, and feature 1 queen bed or 1 king bed and have a partial garden view from a private or communal patios. Sleep a max 2 adults.
• Gardenview Room Mostly have 1 queen or 2 double beds but a few have 1 king bed with rattan furnishings. All rooms overlook manicured gardens but many have partial ocean view. Rooms on the 2nd floor have a communal veranda whilst the 1st floors have private patios. Sleep a max 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children under 12 years old
• Oceanview Room These hillside rooms are the largest rooms offering king beds draped with vibrant hues and mahogany or rattan furnishings, separate vanity area and private patios which overlook the ocean. Perched on the hillside with spectacular ocean views. 2 adults & 1 Child( with a Rollaway)
• Beachfront Room The beachfront rooms are furnished with 2 double beds or 1 king bed all complete with rattan furnishing. All rooms are tiled with area rug. One block of rooms feature a communal balcony on the 2 floor and private patios on the ground floors. 2 Adults & 1 child or 2 adults & 2 children (under 12 years)
• Tropical Waterfront Room This newly refurbished two-story building, boasts one bedroom waterside rooms furnished with 2 double beds or 1 king bed complete with rattan furnishings and a 32 inch TV. Rooms and bathrooms have been completely renovated. Rooms have showers only. All rooms on the first and second floors feature a private balcony with pectacular view of Long Bay beach. 2 Adults & 1 child or 2 adults & 2 children (under 12 years)

What to do

• The infamous Devils Bridge is within walking distance of the hotel
• A short boat ride away are the nature sanctuaries of Green Island and Bird Island.
• Stingray City is only a few minutes away by Taxi.
• The historic English Harbour, Nelson’s naval dockyard is well worth a visit.
• 30 minutes from the hotel is the capital city of St Johns with Casino and duty free shopping.
• On Sunday visit Shirley’s Heights where locals and tourist mix and enjoy some of the best calypso and reggae on the Island
• Visit Antigua’s sister Island of Barbuda to experience its pink sandy beaches.

Pool and Beach

• Set on the stunning Long Bay Beach – Quarter of a mile of pure white sand.
• Two pools. Both centrally located within easy access of the beach and all other resort facilities.
• One larger multi level fun pool with bridges and waterfalls.
• Quieter adults only pool with views of the beach and ocean.

Dining at Grand Pineapple Beach

• Topaz Restaurant: Open daily for buffet breakfast, lunch and International gourmet cuisine for dinner all served overlooking the sea.
• Chef Pietro: Open on Tuesdays & Fridays serving regional Italian specialty dishes by romantic candlelight.
• Pineapple Grill (Tex-Mex): Offers an elegant restaurant specializing in Mexican cuisine on Mondays, Wednesdays & Saturdays.
• The Outhouse: Located on the bluff above the resort where Miss Marry serves up her famous BBQ ribs, chicken, hot dogs and chili beans. Not so much a restaurant as an “experience” where guests can make a sign to leave a reminder of their visit.
• Pelican Snack Bar: Open 11:00am – 6:00pm for anytime snacks, deli sandwiches and ice-creams and 11:30pm – 1:30am for late night snacks.
• Piano Bar: Open from 10:00am to 11:45pm including live entertainment every evening.
• Pineapple Night Club: 11:00pm - 2:00am for late night disco dancing.

DRESS CODE:
When dining, closed in shoes must be worn, bathing suits must be covered and men must not wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts. After 6.30pm men have to wear long trousers and women have to wear dresses, slacks or culottes (no shorts or short outfits).
