You’ll visit the largest rhino conservancy in East Africa overlooking the snow-capped Mount Kenya and one of the most famous wildlife reserves in Africa, the Maasai Mara, famous for its big cats and wildebeest migration. Throughout your safari you’ll have opportunities to enjoy meeting the Maasai people and learning about their culture. Then on to the romantic island of Mauritius staying at the Beau Rivage, located close to a lagoon and beautiful white sandy beach.
Accommodation is in three eco bush camps that complement each other perfectly – staying first at Porini Amboseli Camp in Selenky Conservancy neighbouring Amboseli National Park, then Porini Rhino Camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, followed by Porini Lion Camp in the Olare Orok Conservancy adjacent to the Mara Reserve. The Safari Camps are small and exclusive and run on the same environmentally sound principles - working closely with the local communities. All camps are specially designed to have minimum impact with no permanent structures.

DAY 1

Depart Wilson airport on the 0815 Safarilink 40 minute flight to Amboseli, arriving at 0855. You will be met at the airstrip to go straight on safari in the park. Enjoy a full morning in Amboseli viewing the elephants and other game, followed by a picnic lunch and then continue to Porini Camp in the Selenkay Conservancy near the northern border of the park. Settle into your tent and then have a short game drive in the conservancy followed by a sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking Kilimanjaro and return to camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2

Early morning game drive in the Selenkay Conservancy and then back to Camp for breakfast. After breakfast you will have the chance of an escorted walk with Maasai warriors and a guide followed by lunch in camp. In the afternoon visit an authentic Maasai village near the conservancy where the people will give you an insight into their culture and traditional way of life. Return to the conservancy for a sundowner, night game drive and overnight Amboseli Porini Camp

DAY 3

Early breakfast and leave Porini Camp to drive through Amboseli Park and on to the airstrip for the 0945 Safarilink flight to Wilson, connecting onto 10.20 flight to Nanyuki, arriving at 12.40. You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head off to look for rhino with your driver-guide in the camp’s 4x4 safari vehicle. Return to Porini Rhino Camp for dinner and overnight

DAY 4

Full day in Ol Pejata with game drives and walking activities from camp.
Overnight Porini Rhino Camp

DAY 5

Depart Porini Rhino Camp and fly from Nanyuki on the 09.45 Safarilink flight to Mara arriving at 11.00. You will be met and transferred to Porini Lion Camp. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then go on a game drive or escorted walk followed by a sundowner and night drive with spotlight .
Return to Porini Lion Camp for dinner and overnight

DAY 6

Full day in the Maasai Mara National Park with picnic lunch. Overnight Porini Lion Camp

DAY 7

Final early morning game drive in, depart on the 11.00 Safarilink flight to Wilson arriving back to Nairobi at 12.15. You will be met and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight from Nairobi to Mauritius, you will be met and transferred to the Beau Rivage Hotel for 7 days.

DAY 8

Day 8 – Day 13
Beau Rivage Hotel and to your return flight from Mauritius.
