Day 1

On arrival into Nairobi International airport you will be met and transferred to Wilson airport for your short flight to the Masai Mara.  On arrival at the airstrip you will be transferred to Governors' Camp for your 3-night stay.

Days 2-3

Spend the next couple of days relaxing and taking part in game drives in search of the Big Five - lions, elephants, leopard, rhinos and Cape buffalo. The camp itself is often referred to as 'prime wildlife real estate' and provides a great base for authentic yet luxurious safari-style accommodation.

During your stay you'll have the opportunity to enjoy guided walks through the landscape, cultural visits and sundowners, as well as the memorable game drives where you'll seek out sightings of the Big Five,

Day 4

After breakfast you will transfer to Nairobi International airport for your flight to Kigali in Rwanda for the next portion of your trip. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge.

Days 5-6

You will embark on a three-night stay at the elegant Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge - a sensational lodge situated at the foot of the Virungas volcanoes in Rwanda. Located close to the Parc National des Volcans, this is the best place to be for treks to see the amazing gorillas which live here.

During your stay, you will enjoy gorilla trekking through the forests, have chance to experience a visit to a cultural village, visit the nearby lakes or go on an escorted bird watching tour. This is a really unique and unforgettable experience, surrounded by tropical flora and birdlife in one of the most beautiful parts of Africa.

Day 7

Enjoy a bit of last-minute chill-out time before transferring back to Kigali airport for your onward flight.

 

Important Information

Your stay in Rwanda includes return road transfers from Kigali, 3-nights accommodation on a Fully Inclusive Basis, 1 full day Gorilla Trekking and all of the relevant Gorilla Permits and Community Fees applicable.

British passport holders do not require a visa for Rwanda. All other nationalities must obtain a visa for Rwanda before travel as Visa’s are not available on arrival.
